When and where is the 2025 Alberta Mortgage Conference taking place?

The 2025 Alberta Mortgage Conference will be held June 2–3 at the BMO Centre at Stampede Park in Calgary, Alberta.

Day 1: 8 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.

Day 2: 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

What is the theme of this years conference?

This year’s theme is Building on Legacy, Shaping Tomorrow—a celebration of our industry’s past and a bold look into its future.

Who should attend the conference?

This event is open to anyone in the mortgage and real estate industry—brokers, lenders, industry partners, and aspiring professionals alike.

What is the dress code?

We recommend business casual attire for all conference activities.


Registration

How do I register?

To register, simply purchase your ticket on our main website. Visit amba.ca/atlas/events/1113/details to complete your registration.

Can I register on-site?

There will be no on-site registration. Please ensure you purchase your ticket no later than May 26, 2025 at 5 p.m. MST.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

All registrations are non-refundable without exception. Registration transfers are permitted – please contact us at events@amba.ca to transfer your registration to someone else by May 28, 2025.


Conference App

Is there a mobile app for the conference?

Yes! Details on how to download and access the conference app will be shared closer to the event. The app will include the agenda, speaker bios, maps, and networking tools.

How do I download and use the conference app?

What can I do on the app?

The conference app allows you to view the full conference schedule, browse detailed speaker profiles, and connect with other attendees. You can also access venue maps and session locations to help you navigate the event with ease, while adding them to your personal schedule to keep you organize. Throughout the conference, you’ll receive important updates in real time to keep you informed and on track.


Sessions + Speakers

Where can I find the schedule and speaker list?

The agenda and speaker lineup will be available on the conference app and website once finalized.

Will sessions be recorded or available on-demand?

No, the sessions will not be available after the conference – all the more reason to attend the 2025 Alberta Mortgage Conference!

Do I need to sign up for sessions in advance

No pre-registration is required unless otherwise noted for limited-capacity workshops or breakout sessions.


Meals + Amenities

Are meals included with my registration?

Yes! Your registration includes light breakfast items, coffee breaks, and lunch on bnoth days of the conference.

Are dietary restrications accomodated?

Absolutely! You’ll have the opportunity to note any dietary restrictions during the registration process, and we’ll do our best to ensure your needs are met.

Will Wi-Fi be available?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi will be available at the BMO Centre for all attendees.


Travel + Accomodations

Are there hotel discounts for attendees?

Yes. We’ve secured preferred rates at two centrally located downtown Calgary hotels, both within close proximity to the BMO Centre. Hotel booking details will be provided after you purchase your ticket.

Is parking available at the venue?

Yes, paid parking is available onsite at the BMO Centre. Rates and details can be found on the Stampede Park website.

What transportation options are available?

The venue is accessible by car, ride-sharing services, and Calgary Transit (CTrain and bus routes). We recommend using public transit or carpooling when possible.


Networking + Extras

Are there networking events or socials?

Yes! In addition to dedicated networking breaks throughout both days of the conference, attendees are encouraged to explore the tradeshow floor, connect through the conference app, and take advantage of several on-site opportunities to meet and mingle.

Your conference ticket also includes admission to the AMBA Roundup, happening on Night 1 at Ranchman’s—a legendary Calgary country bar. This fun, casual evening includes snacks, one free drink, line dance lessons, and the chance to ride the mechanical bull. It’s a great way to unwind, have fun, and build connections with fellow professionals in the mortgage and real estate industry. Please ensure you wear your wristband for entrance to the event. It will be given to you at registration.

And don’t miss the AMBA Gala Awards, a premier evening of celebration and connection. This elegant event recognizes outstanding professionals and achievements in Alberta’s mortgage industry. It’s the perfect opportunity to dress up, enjoy a formal dinner, and connect with colleagues, partners, and peers in a more refined setting.

How do I connect with other attendees?

You can connect with other attendees directly through the app’s messaging feature, making it easy to network and start conversations before, during, and after the event.

Are there any contests, games, or giveaways?

Yes! Join us for Mortgage Trivia during the Tradeshow on Day 2 for a chance to win a prize valued at $1,000. The winner will be announced during the closing remarks—and remember, you must be in the room to win. Many exhibitor booths may offer their own contests and promotions. While these are not affiliated with AMBA, we encourage you to engage, explore, and enjoy the extra fun—they’re a great way to connect and walk away with something cool!


Contact + Support

Who can I contact for help before or during the event?

If you have any questions in advance, please reach out to the AMBA team at events@amba.ca. During the event, AMBA staff will be available at the registration desk and throughout the venue. Look for team members wearing bright blue AMBA shirts and name badges—they’re happy to help.

What should I do if I lose my badge or have an issue at the venue?

Please visit the registration desk or find an AMBA staff member to assist you in getting a new badge.
